The Utility Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the utility section by the approved policies & procedures of the company to ensure the availability of quality service to production & other areas of the plant. Key Responsibilities: Maintain all equipment under utilities to minimize down time. Maintain CO2 access points as per specification. Operates steam boilers, air compressors, power distribution equipment etc. to ensure quality service delivery Lubricate equipment as specified in the lubrication chart and documentation. Clean and wash all stains on equipment after lubrication Use all company provided protective wear and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules. Carry out equipment monitoring in line with established checklists, document findings, prepare shift operation reports, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. Ensure all safety sensors, reflectors & safety controls are in good working condition. Requirements: Good understanding of plant HQSE modalities and codes. Relevant Engineering Certificate or equivalent Certificate HND/BSc A minimum of 3 years' relevant technical experience, preferably gained within a shopfloor or production environment. Good understanding and experience: of current manufacturing methodologies. Significant experience: with a measure of cost reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. Good analytical skills Basic knowledge of computer skills. Good oral communication, influencing and relationship skills.
