FoLiXx Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced, analytical and highly accountable Group Accountant to provide central financial oversight across its business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating financial activities across the Group, strengthening financial controls, ensuring accurate accounting records, monitoring revenue and expenditure, managing cash flow, and providing timely financial reports to support management decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Supervise Accountants, Cashiers and other finance personnel across the Group. Coordinate tax, statutory and regulatory compliance. Provide management with clear financial analysis, business-performance insights and recommendations. Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of revenue across cash, POS, transfers and other payment channels. Support internal and external audits and investigate financial discrepancies or control breaches. Monitor revenue leakages, financial discrepancies and unusual transactions. Monitor debtor ageing and outstanding vendor obligations. Coordinate accounting and financial reporting activities across all business units. Ensure proper segregation of duties across the finance function. Review daily, weekly and monthly financial reports from individual business units. Monitor operational expenditure against approved budgets and recommend cost-control measures. Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Monitor food cost, beverage cost, wastage, stock variances and unusual consumption. Maintain financial oversight of fixed assets, acquisitions, depreciation and disposals. Develop and enforce financial policies, approval limits and internal-control procedures. Review expenditure requests, vendor invoices and supporting documentation before payment. Coordinate annual and periodic budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Work with Inventory, Procurement and Operations teams on stock accounting, stock valuation and cost control. Review payroll, staff deductions, bonuses and approved adjustments before final processing. Monitor Group bank accounts, cash positions, petty cash and inter-business fund movements. Requirements: Good understanding of inventory accounting, payroll, taxation and internal controls. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict reporting deadlines. Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or equivalent is highly desirable. Experience: managing finances across multiple business units or locations. Strong Excel and accounting-software proficiency. Strong leadership and team-supervision capability. Strong experience: in management accounting, financial reporting and Group-level consolidation. High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow management, revenue control and cost management. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. Excellent analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills. N700,000 - N1,000,000 per month.
