We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: HR Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The HR Officer will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, including recruitment, employee onboarding, personnel documentation, employee engagement, attendance management, and general HR administration. The role requires a highly organized and people-oriented individual who can maintain confidentiality and effectively support both employees and management. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Screen CVs and assist with shortlisting qualified candidates. Support the recruitment process from job posting and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and selection. Maintain an up-to-date employee and candidate database. Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate the onboarding of new employees. Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process. HR Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits: and other HR processes. Assist with the preparation and updating of HR policies and procedures. Monitor employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related records. Prepare HR reports, letters, memos, and other employment documentation. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files. Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for employees on routine HR-related matters. Assist in addressing employee concerns and escalate complex issues to management where necessary. Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives. Support disciplinary and performance management processes in line with company policies. Performance & Learning: Support performance appraisal and review processes. Assist in identifying training and development needs. Coordinate internal training sessions and maintain training records. Compliance: Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters. Ensure HR activities are carried out in line with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Assist with HR audits and statutory documentation when required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Compliance with HR policies and procedures. Timeliness and effectiveness of recruitment support. Accuracy and completeness of employee records. Employee engagement and responsiveness to HR requests. Timely completion of assigned HR activities. Timely processing of HR documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an advantage. Experience: 1–3 years of experience: in Human Resources or a related administrative role. Experience: in recruitment and HR administration is preferred. Key Skills & Competencies: Good knowledge of HR practices and processes. Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Salary N150,000 monthly.
