Read more about this company Plastic Engineer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 3 - 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Engineering / Technical A Plastic Blow Molding Engineer optimizes production processes, troubleshoots machinery (extruders, accumulators), and develops tooling to produce plastic products. Responsibilities: Support the design and development of plastic components and products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials, understanding their properties and applications within different contexts. Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct experiments and analyze data, contributing to product improvements and innovation. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. Help document processes, methodologies, and results to maintain clear records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Familiarity with basic plastics processing techniques and material properties. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a passion for problem-solving. Require 3-5+ years of experience. Knowledge of PET/HDPE materials. Basic understanding of CAD software and design principles. Knowledge of polymer chemistry and processing methods. Understanding of materials characterization techniques.
