As part of our commitment to strengthening our technology governance framework and aligning with regulatory and international best practices, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Governance Specialist to join our growing team. If you are passionate about IT governance, information security, compliance, process improvement, and driving organizational excellence, we invite you to become part of our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Review, update, and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure effective implementation of governance initiatives and technology systems. Monitor system performance and governance effectiveness, providing regular reports to executive management. Develop and manage the organization's annual IT Governance Calendar. Support audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit findings relating to technology governance. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks and controls. Monitor compliance with approved IT governance policies, standards, and procedures. Identify governance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. Establish and operationalize the IT Governance function across the organization. Support the implementation of regulatory technology standards, including initiatives aligned with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) roadmap where applicable. Coordinate periodic governance reviews, internal assessments, and compliance reporting. Promote IT governance awareness and compliance culture across the organization. ⁠ Requirements: Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, risk management, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, documentation, project management, and stakeholder management skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CRISC, or related certifications will be an added advantage. Experience: developing IT policies, governance documentation, and operational standards. 3–5 years of relevant experience: in IT Governance, Information Security, IT Risk, IT Compliance, or Technology Audit.
