We are seeking a competent and motivated Medical Officer for a 4-month contract position, with an interest in career development in Internal Medicine, Medical Specialties, or Critical Care. Key Responsibilities: Perform basic clinical procedures and diagnostic tests as required. Develop competence through on-the-job learning in clinical assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions. Liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care. Maintain patient confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality at all times. Adhere to the hospital’s clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care. Participate in treatment, preventive healthcare, and other clinical services as delegated by the supervising healthcare provider. Provide clinical care and management of patients with acute and chronic medical conditions under appropriate supervision. Provide clinical instructions and support to nursing staff and other clinical teams as required. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using the EMR. Requirements: Degree in Medicine (MBBS) from an accredited university. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Successful completion of NYSC. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Current registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Strong organisational and time-management skills. Good counselling, listening, and patient-care skills. Willingness to work within the requirements: of a 4-month contract. Good knowledge of General Medicine. Computer literacy and ability to use electronic medical records (EMR). 1–3 years of post-qualification experience: as a Medical Officer.
