We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Electrical Engineer Job Location: Ijora, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain electrical systems and components in line with required technical specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution. Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and system design. Prepare technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and related engineering documentation. Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installation and maintenance activities. Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide effective technical solutions. Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, contractors, project managers, and other technical teams. Monitor project progress and provide regular technical and operational reports to management. Conduct testing, commissioning, and quality assurance of electrical systems and equipment. Support preventive and corrective maintenance programmes. Ensure all electrical works are completed in accordance with approved specifications and safety requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in electrical engineering or a related field. 1 – 3 years of relevant experience: in power, construction, industrial, or related environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar tools. Good understanding of local and international electrical codes and standards. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
