The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in commercial law, contract drafting and review, licensing, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory within the financial services sector. Key Responsibilities: Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements: and provide timely legal guidance to management. Provide legal advice on commercial transactions, business initiatives, and new products to mitigate legal and regulatory risks. Manage licensing requirements: and support regulatory applications and renewals. Review and maintain standard contract templates, legal documentation, and internal policies. Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, statutory filings, and corporate records. Advise business units on legal, commercial, and regulatory matters to support strategic decision-making. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing the fintech and financial services industry. Provide legal support on data privacy, intellectual property, digital payments, consumer protection, and technology-related matters. Conduct legal due diligence for partnerships, investments, and other commercial transactions. Liaise with regulators and external counsel on legal, compliance, and corporate matters where necessary.
