Read more about this company Operations Intern Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos City Ikeja Job Field Internships , Manufacturing Salary Range ₦50,000 - ₦100,000/month Job Summary The Operations Intern will support the Operations team in coordinating and monitoring daily activities within the furniture manufacturing factory. The role will provide practical experience: in production coordination, inventory monitoring, materials management, quality checks, logistics, documentation, and ensuring that operational activities are completed efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Support the Operations team in monitoring daily factory and production activities. Assist in tracking production jobs and following up on pending tasks and deadlines. Monitor the availability and movement of raw materials, tools, and other production items. Assist with inventory and stock records in collaboration with the Stores team. Support coordination between Production, Stores, Procurement, Logistics, and other relevant teams. Identify and report production delays, material shortages, equipment issues, and other operational challenges. Assist in monitoring finished products and ensuring they are ready for the next stage or delivery. Maintain accurate operational records, trackers, and reports. Support compliance with factory processes, SOPs, safety requirements, and operational standards. Assist in identifying areas for improvement and carry out other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Lead. Requirements: Currently pursuing an HND or degree, on an industrial training (IT), SIWES, or one-year internship programme, or recently completed a relevant programme in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Good organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets. Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare simple reports. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a factory environment. Ability to work with different teams and follow instructions. Willingness to learn about furniture manufacturing and factory operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates interest in manufacturing, production, logistics, inventory, and operations.
