We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Retail Shop Supervisor Location: Lekki , Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Core Responsibilities: Compliance: Ensure that the store aligns with the corporate governance mentality of the organization; complies with all company policies, procedures, as well as all applicable regulatory, health and safety regulations. Cross Collaboration: Spearhead seamless interactions with other departments within the organization, as well as external consultants, stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Others: All other related responsibilities, as assigned. Customer Service: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by handling inquiries and resolving queries and complaints effectively; establish good rapport with existing and potential customers; resolve other customer service issues. Staff Management: Participate in the hiring and training of subordinates; assign duties and maintain the roster; provide motivation and coaching to help team members meet performance goals; follow up on the results, through scheduled evaluations; discipline, counsel, and initiate corrective actions. Transactional and Financial Management: Sales watch; cash drawer, receipts, payments, and refunds management; participation in budgeting as well as budget implementation; monitor expenses to minimize waste. Product Expertise: Maintain a working knowledge of all products and product solutions offered within the outlet. Reports: Prepare and submit all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports pertaining to the sales outlet. General Store Operations: Maintain the store's visual appearance, cleanliness, and organization, ensuring all products are displayed correctly in alignment with internal and regulatory standards. Local Market and Competition Watch: Investigate local market trends and popular products that would appeal to neighbourhood customers. Recognize future and present requirements: by customers; monitor all the pertinent dynamics in all rival sales outlets, within the customer zone. Online Sales: Spearhead online sales and promotions for the outlet, through the company’s platforms like websites and social media accounts. Sales and Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets; implement all the TAPG marketing campaigns pertinent to the outlet as well as promotional initiatives to drive sales, store performance and increase profitability. Database: Participate in developing and maintaining the KYC and vendor database. Inventory and Stock: Oversee inventory levels; participate in ordering, receiving and stocking; maintain healthy inventory through reorder levels; implement measures to avoid stock expiry, damages, theft, and wastage, shortages, overstocking, and expiry. Requirements: Ability to work with minimum supervision and deliver results without excuses Must be amendable to corporate governance. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask; A Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, Retail Management, or any related field with 2 - 5 years relevant working experience. Transparency, accountability, accuracy and integrity; Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience: in a retail setting is typically required, as is experience: with sales, budgets, and financial reports.
