The role involves vendor management, contract administration, logistics coordination, cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. To oversee and optimize the company’s vehicle leasing operations, ensuring efficient allocation, utilization, and maintenance of fleet assets in line with operational and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Fleet & Leasing Management: Coordinate the leasing, allocation, and return of vehicles for company operations and client projects, ensuring availability and reliability. Vendor & Contract Administration: Source, evaluate, and manage leasing vendors and service providers; negotiate lease agreements and ensure contract compliance and cost-effectiveness. Operational Coordination: Plan and schedule vehicle deployment in alignment with project and logistics needs, ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime. Maintenance Oversight: Monitor vehicle performance, coordinate servicing, repairs, and inspections to ensure safety and optimal operation of leased vehicles. Cost Control: Track leasing expenses, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs; identify opportunities to reduce operational and leasing costs. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to transport regulations, company policies, insurance requirements, and safety standards. Maintain accurate vehicle and lease documentation. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on vehicle utilization, leasing performance, costs, and vendor performance for management review. Key Requirements: Education: B.Sc./HND in Engineering, Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 5–6 years’ experience: in logistics, fleet management, or vehicle leasing operations—preferably within the oil & gas, construction, or related sector. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle leasing contracts, fleet operations, vendor management, and relevant transport regulations. Skills: Strong analytical and cost management skills. Excellent communication and reporting ability. Ability to work collaboratively with operations, procurement, and finance teams. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in logistics and fleet management software. Other: Proven experience: in managing large or specialized vehicle fleets. Willingness to travel to project sites and vendor location. Knowledge of HSE standards related to transport operations.
