Min Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E) Experience: Level: Entry level Experience: Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Guard company premises and ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verifying the identity of visitors and contractors. Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security breaches. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Screen visitors and maintain visitor logs. Inspect bags, vehicles, and deliveries where required in accordance with company policies. Ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas. Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activities where applicable. Report accidents, suspicious activities, security breaches, and emergencies promptly. Prepare accurate daily occurrence reports and incident reports. Assist law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Maintain detailed records of security activities and observations. Enforce company safety and security policies. Respond effectively to emergencies such as fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, or evacuations. Assist in implementing emergency response procedures. Represent the company positively while carrying out security duties. Requirements: Minimum of SSCE or equivalent. Previous experience: as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or in a similar role is an added advantage. Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods. Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively. High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
