A reputable multi-specialist hospital in Nigeria is recruiting for the role of Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The role involves providing specialist obstetrics and gynaecology care across the patient pathway, leading the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in out-patient, in-patient and referral settings. Responsibilities: Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in obstetrics and gynaecology, including complex cases, and act as a senior point of referral for junior medical staff. Contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement and patient-safety activities. Coordinate care with other specialties, diagnostics, pharmacy, nursing, allied health and managed-care/HMO functions, applying evidence-based, cost-effective practice. Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and current MDCN registration/licence in line with internal clinical policy. Supervise, teach and support the training and development of senior medical officers, medical officers and trainees. Requirements: Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognised institution.
