We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Senior Civil Engineer Job Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi Job Summary The Senior Civil Enginer at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient co-operation and support across departments, executing inspections, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining high safety and performance standards. Key Duties and Responbilities Plan and execute civil engineering jobs across departments. Design, carry out structural analyses and detailed plans by using AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Planning, design and construction of internal roads and drainage systems. carry out vendor development and sourcing. Enforce zoning laws, environmental regulations and local building codes. Maintain daily maintenance logs and reports. Record equipment history and failure data. Update maintenance checklists and work orders. Suggest improvements for equipment reliability and efficiency. Reduce downtime and maintenance costs. Implement best maintenance practices and new technologies. Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Provide on-the-job training and skill development to team members. Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of nine (9) years of work experience: as a Civil Engineer. Advanced proficiency in Civil Engineering design software, cost estimation and structural analysis . Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. Leadership and team management ability. Excellent knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
