The Cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, receiving payments, issuing receipts, maintaining proper cash records, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Comply with company policies and procedures relating to cash handling and financial controls. Support the sales team in ensuring smooth customer checkout and payment processes. Process cash, POS, bank transfers, and other customer payments accurately. Safeguard cash, receipts, and other financial documents. Report discrepancies, shortages, or excess cash to the appropriate supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management. Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash collections. Balance the cash register and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift. Handle customer enquiries and resolve basic payment-related issues professionally. Ensure all cash and payment transactions are properly accounted for. Issue receipts and invoices for completed transactions. Key Requirements: Good customer service orientation. Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience: is an advantage. Female is preferred (for gender balance). Honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good numerical and basic accounting skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle cash responsibly.
