We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Accountant Job Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and reporting. This role is open exclusively to corps members currently undergoing their NYSC service year, and offers valuable hands-on experience: in a corporate finance environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports. Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements. Support bank reconciliations and monitoring of company accounts. Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking. Liaise with vendors and service providers on payment-related matters. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. Assist the finance unit with audits and other financial exercises as required. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management. Requirements: Minimum of B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must be a serving NYSC member with a valid NYSC posting letter (mandatory). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record-keeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage. Strong numerical and analytical skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Trustworthy, with a high level of discretion in handling financial information. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
