The successful candidate will serve as the first line of IT support, providing day-to-day technical assistance to employees while supporting our office network, CCTV systems, user accounts, information security controls, and IT automation. Key Responsibilities: Employee ID & Account Provisioning: Handle mailbox applications, configuration, and permissions. Maintain accurate account and permission registers. Produce and manage employee ID badges. Office Network & CCTV Operations: Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring coverage and storage integrity. Maintain IT asset registers and consumables stock. Operate and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and printers. Liaise with ISPs and vendors for faults and repairs. Employee Device & Application Support: Create simple how-to guides for recurring issues. Perform basic hardware diagnosis and repairs. Install, configure, and update systems and applications. Provide first-line support for hardware, OS, office software, and printing. Automation with Python: Identify further automation opportunities. Develop scripts to automate repetitive IT/HR tasks (e.g., badge generation, asset reporting, ticket statistics). Document scripts and lodge with HRD. Information Security: Ensure endpoint protection and patch management. Perform scheduled backups and verify restorations. Monitor access rights, permissions, and unauthorized software/devices. Report and log security incidents promptly. Deliver staff security-awareness briefings. Requirements: B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field. Strong Python scripting/automation skills. 1-3 years of relevant IT Support experience, preferably in an office environment. Understanding of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS. Experience: with email client configuration. Understanding of information-security fundamentals. Knowledge of Microsoft Office/productivity applications. Exposure to CCTV systems and network equipment maintenance is an advantage. Good knowledge of Windows OS installation and configuration. Certifications — An advantage: Information Security certifications.
