Read more about this company Officer, Warehouse Operations Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: 3 - 5 years Location Lagos City Oshodi - Isolo Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES Ensure best in class warehouse management practices with no inventory loss on account of warehouse storage and product handling in line with standard operating procedures. Ensure uninterrupted supply of stock and packaging materials to production floor. Maintain accurate stock balances on all stock lines at all times. Ensure timely receipt of raw & packaging materials into PNG warehouse locations KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES Ensure zero damage and obsolescence of material by ensuring FIFO or FMFO or FEFO during issuance with proper handling and timely communication Monitoring and working with technical team to promote adherence to maintenance plan, maximize uptime and minimize downtime of material handling equipment. Manage all warehouse transactions (Stock issuance, receipts, transfers, and returns to suppliers) both system and physical are well accounted for with proper documentation. Responsible for monitoring and managing material receipt from suppliers as properly arranged based on approved pallet formation for each product categories/sizes and are properly labelled into the warehouse. Reconcile and count physical stock to the inventory listing balance daily, weekly, and monthly to generate accurate report Drive warehouse operational efficiencies by scheduling and assigning employees to designated role; following up on work results. Ensure expected participation of any audit exercise and drive timely closure of any reported audit gaps. Ensure feedbacks to Planning and Shipping Departments on container receipts through proper documentation and prompt returning of monitoring sheets. Ensure daily targets for Raw and Packaging material deliveries to Production factories are met. Manage in-bound third-party transporters relationships for effective results. Implement flexibility and agility in inventory storage to deal with exceptional situations – natural disasters, external disruption, theft, and stock contamination. Maintain good relationships and teamwork with all personnel within and outside your work environment to achieve the departmental objectives and goals. Ensured adherence to Standard Operating Procedure and Food Safety standards including conformity with ISO requirements. Carries out any other duty assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator etc. EDUCATION: & EXPERIENCE: HND or bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Engineering and Basic Sciences (Minimum Qualification) At least 3 - 5 years’ work experience: in warehouse, inventory, or logistics function of a reputable organization.
