The Back of House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and back-of-house area. Key Responsibilities: Work with other teams to ensure timely and efficient service. Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage. Ensure food is prepared and cooked according to approved recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards. Ensure the safe use of kitchen equipment and proper adherence to operational procedures. Cook and assist with food preparation when required. Train and guide kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with standards. Manage kitchen inventory and report shortages when necessary. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen and back-of-house staff. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety. Requirements: Must have practical cooking skills and be able to prepare meals according to standard recipes. Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
