Supervise general ledger activities and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts. Manage and review loan accounting processes, including disbursements, repayments, and interest recognition. Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements. Monitor and reconcile income, customer repayments, and other financial transactions. Review accounts and investigate discrepancies or irregularities. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Supervise and guide junior accounting staff. Liaise with external auditors and relevant stakeholders when required. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and cost efficiency.
