The role ensures that projects are completed within budget while maintaining the required quality and compliance standards. The Quantity Surveyor prepares cost estimates, manages contracts, evaluates variations, and provides commercial advice to support efficient project delivery. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare cost estimates, and ensure the commercial and financial success of construction projects. Responsibilities: Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets. Ensure compliance with applicable construction regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for proposed projects. Negotiate contracts and procurement terms with contractors and suppliers. Measure completed works and certify interim and final payments. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. Assess, value, and negotiate variations, claims, and change orders. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project expenditure. Prepare tender documentation and evaluate contractor and supplier bids. Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and commercial reports. Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports and forecasts. Sound understanding of procurement and tendering processes. 3–5 years of relevant experience: in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction industry. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. First Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
