We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Brand Storyteller Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time About the Brand Storyteller role You'll report directly to the Brand Storytelling Lead and act as their right hand: a creative and strategic partner on the highest-stakes storytelling, and the person who can take a raw idea and turn it into finished, best-in-class copy. You'll shape and execute Paystack's brand storytelling across launches, campaigns, product announcements, organic content, internal communications, merchant communications, social media, video, events, and PR. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who enjoys both thinking and making. You'll write articles, scripts, social posts, newsletters, internal updates, merchant emails, and campaign copy. We're looking for a Senior Brand Storyteller who is, above all, an exceptional writer and a sharp creative thinker. You'll also help turn important company and product moments into clear, thoughtful stories that build trust with merchants, create pride among Stacks, and help partners, customers, and the broader ecosystem understand Paystack's work. We’ll trust you to Own storytelling projects from idea to execution, working closely with designers, producers, photographers, videographers, marketers, product teams, and external partners. Help manage Paystack's editorial and organic content calendar, and spot strong storytelling opportunities across the company to turn into useful content for merchants, partners, employees, and the broader ecosystem. Lead the storytelling on launches and product announcements end to end, from the core narrative to the copy that ships. You'll pressure-test ideas, find the sharper story, and raise the creative bar across the team, including work that isn't your own. Review writing, video, photography, and design work, and give clear feedback that makes the final output sharper and more useful. Write exceptional copy across every format: launch announcements, feature articles, campaign lines, video scripts, social, newsletters, executive and internal communications, and website copy. This is the core of the role. Partner with teams across Product, GTM, Customer Experience, Legal, Compliance, People, and Leadership to help communicate their work clearly and consistently. Support PR efforts by helping develop messaging, reviewing press materials, preparing briefing notes, and working with journalists, agency partners, and external stakeholders where needed. Bring the thinking. Support business-as-usual communications, including merchant emails, lifecycle communications, dashboard announcements, and other recurring updates, building, testing, and sending them through our marketing tools. Shape the creative and brand strategy behind major moments. You'll develop the messaging, narrative, and creative angle for product launches, company announcements, campaigns, and internal initiatives, not just execute a brief someone else wrote.
