The role requires creativity, product knowledge, excellent customer service, and strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist with stock counts and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies. Follow all health, hygiene, and food safety regulations. Stay updated on current beverage trends, spirits, wines, cocktails, and mixology techniques. Recommend drinks based on guest preferences and menu pairings. Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service. Verify guests meet the legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption. Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards. Operate bar equipment safely and report any maintenance issues. Support bar promotions, events, and special functions. Monitor and replenish bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times. Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate concerns when necessary. Ensure all beverages are prepared consistently, accurately, and promptly. Store beverages, garnishes, and ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality. Create signature cocktails and seasonal drink menus that enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after service. Qualifications Minimum of OND, SSCE, or equivalent qualification. Certification in Mixology, Bartending, or Hospitality is an added advantage. At least 2–5 years of experience: as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable restaurant, hotel, lounge, or bar. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Skills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Team player with a positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills.
