We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and customer-focused Auxiliary Nurse to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will support the pharmacist in delivering quality healthcare services by assisting with basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, providing health education, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Perform other duties assigned by the supervising pharmacist or pharmacy manager. Assist in maintaining accurate records of health screening services and patient interactions. Direct customers to the appropriate pharmacist for medication counselling and prescription-related enquiries. Comply with pharmacy policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. Monitor medical consumables and notify the pharmacist when supplies need replenishment. Measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, blood glucose, weight, and BMI. Assist with basic health screenings and wellness services offered by the pharmacy. Support patients by providing basic first aid and wound care where appropriate and within the scope of practice. Handle customer enquiries professionally and escalate clinical concerns to the pharmacist. Prepare patients for consultations with the pharmacist. Welcome and attend to customers in a courteous and professional manner. Assist the pharmacist in providing quality healthcare services to patients. Ensure consultation areas, screening equipment, and workstations are clean, organized, and properly sanitized. Assist with inventory counts and proper storage of healthcare supplies. Educate customers on basic health, hygiene, nutrition, and medication adherence as directed by the pharmacist. Requirements: Basic computer literacy. Good organizational and record-keeping skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing or a related healthcare qualification. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to measure and interpret basic vital signs accurately. Basic knowledge of first aid, patient care, and health screening procedures. Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
