This role ensures proper environmental conditions, temperature control, and air quality across manufacturing, cleanroom, and administrative areas in line with pharmaceutical cGMP standards. The AHU & AC Technician is responsible for the installation, daily operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs of Air Handling Units (AHUs), chillers, and facility air conditioning systems (split units, package units, and precision ACs). Key Responsibilities: Component Repairs: Inspect, repair, or replace blower motors, fan belts, pulleys, bearings, compressors, expansion valves, and electrical control panels. Documentation & Safety: Log servicing activities, gas consumption, and replacement parts in maintenance register books following company EHS and cGMP protocols. Refrigerant & System Servicing: Check system pressure, detect gas leaks, vacuum lines, and charge refrigerants (Freon/R410a/R22) as needed to maintain optimal cooling performance. Troubleshooting: Diagnose airflow restrictions, cooling inefficiencies, electrical faults, and unusual noises or vibrations in AC and AHU systems. Maintenance & Servicing: Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective repairs on AHUs, split ACs, package units, and cooling coils. Filter & Hygiene Care: Regularly clean, wash, or replace pre-filters, medium filters, and HEPA filters across AHUs and HVAC ducts. Job Requirements: & Qualifications Competencies: Strong technical problem-solving ability, safety consciousness, and willingness to work shifts. Skills: Proficiency in refrigerant charging, electrical fault diagnosis, pipe brazing, and air handling filter maintenance. Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on technical experience: servicing AHUs, industrial chillers, and HVAC/AC systems within a manufacturing environment. Education: NABTEB, OND, or Trade Test (Grade I & II) in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Technology.
