We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Female Early Years Educator Location: Ibadan , Oyo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary Millie’s British International School (MBIS) is seeking to appoint experienced and committed educators to join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting and extending the learning of children through high-quality teaching, play-based learning, and nurturing care. We welcome applications from qualified Early Years Educators with a strong passion for early childhood development and an understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum. Qualifications, Experience: and Skills – Essential Requirements: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered: Capable of creating vibrant indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage independent learning Able to design and maintain stimulating classroom displays of a high standard Demonstrates consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct Sound understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to child protection Experience: in supporting handwriting development in young learners Must reside in Ibadan, within reasonable commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan Must bring a positive attitude, patience, a good sense of humour, and the energy required to work effectively with young children Excellent English language skills – written, spoken, and reading – are mandatory Enthusiastic, innovative, and dynamic in delivering lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners Proficient in the use of basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, internet browsing) to support teaching and learning Competence in teaching early mathematics and literacy, with a clear understanding of developmentally appropriate teaching strategies Strong classroom management and effective teaching skills Ability to engage and motivate young learners through play-based learning, promoting emotional, social, and educational development Possess a B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., HND, or PGDE in Early Childhood Education, English from a recognised institution with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience: in a similar role, with a demonstrable understanding of the British Early Years Curriculum Possession of creative teaching skills such as music, dance, drama, and arts & crafts is essential Ability to teach phonics, or a willingness to be trained in phonics instruction Salary N130,000 monthly.
