A reputable real estate/construction company in with offices in Lagos and Anambra states is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced HR Officer to provide HR support to the company and project units. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations/generalist experience, be able to work independently, and have proven experience: supporting a fast-paced construction/real estate environment, including high-volume recruitment of skilled and unskilled manpower. Responsibilities: HR Process Improvement: Identify HR process gaps and support improvements to HR systems and service delivery. Learning & Development: Support training needs identification, learning initiatives, and employee development activities. Talent Acquisition: Support end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, offer management, and onboarding. HR Operations & Administration: Manage day-to-day HR processes, employee records, documentation, onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits. Performance Management: Coordinate goal setting, KPI tracking, appraisals, performance reviews, and performance improvement processes. Policy & Compliance: Support implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company requirements. HR Reporting & Analytics: Maintain HR data and prepare reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment, employee movements, and other key metrics. Employee Relations & Engagement: Support employee inquiries, grievances, disciplinary matters, and engagement initiatives. Payroll & Benefits: Support: Provide accurate HR inputs for payroll and support benefits: administration and employee queries. HSE KPI: Report hazards, injuries, or ill health within 24 hours, participate in company HSE programs, report unsafe acts and conditions, and adhere to safe work procedures. Requirements: & Competencies CIPM certification or membership is an advantage. 4–5 years of progressive HR experience: across multiple HR functions. Experience: in construction, engineering, real estate, or other project-based environments is highly desirable. Ability to work independently and effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of end-to-end HR operations and service delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience: managing high-volume recruitment of construction manpower is required. Adaptable, resilient, and process-oriented mindset. N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
