We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and clinically competent Medical Doctor to join our team as a full-time resident doctor. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience, strong general medical knowledge, good clinical judgment, and the ability to independently manage patients and perform appropriate basic surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients. Attend to patients in the outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and other clinical settings as required. Take accurate patient histories and perform thorough physical examinations. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans. Perform and/or assist with basic surgical procedures within the doctor's competence and approved scope of practice. Participate actively in the hospital's surgical services and ensure proper pre-operative and post-operative patient management. Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide timely intervention. Monitor admitted patients and ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and clinical documentation. Work collaboratively with nurses, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide appropriate patient and family education. Maintain high standards of medical ethics, professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety. Participate in clinical reviews, case discussions, and other activities aimed at improving quality of care. Carry out other reasonable clinical responsibilities: assigned by the hospital management. Education: & Professional Requirements: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution. Must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Must possess a valid practicing licence. Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience. Previous experience: in a hospital environment is required. Demonstrable experience: and competence in basic surgical procedures is highly desirable. Candidates with additional postgraduate training, relevant certifications, or experience: in surgical practice will have an advantage.
