The successful candidate will support the development and management of the company’s healthcare provider network across Benin City and surrounding areas in Edo State. Candidates with previous HMO, managed care, hospital administration, provider relations, healthcare coordination, or clinical experience: are encouraged to apply. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse with strong knowledge of healthcare operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and manage relationships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Provider Network & Relationship Management: Address provider concerns and escalate issues appropriately where necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information and records. Identify and engage hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities for potential inclusion in the provider network. Conduct facility visits and assessments to understand the capacity, services, and operational standards of healthcare providers. Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and facility management. Serve as a key point of contact between the organization and healthcare providers. Support the onboarding and documentation of new healthcare providers. Conduct regular provider engagement and follow-up visits. Healthcare Operations & Quality Monitoring: Support periodic facility inspections and quality assessments. Ensure healthcare providers understand and comply with applicable service requirements: and organizational guidelines. Support the resolution of enrollee complaints relating to healthcare providers. Monitor provider performance and report areas requiring improvement. Identify gaps in service delivery and recommend appropriate solutions. Monitor the quality and standard of healthcare services provided to enrollees. Work with relevant internal teams to improve the overall enrollee healthcare experience. HMO & Provider Support: Liaise with providers regarding authorization, claims, referrals, and other operational matters. Support communication between healthcare providers and internal Claims, Authorization, and Operations teams. Assist in resolving provider-related claims and service issues. Ensure providers have adequate understanding of benefit packages, service procedures, and relevant HMO processes. Assist in maintaining smooth coordination between the HMO and its provider network. Reporting & Documentation: Identify provider network gaps and recommend suitable facilities for expansion. Provide management with relevant feedback and insights from healthcare facilities and providers. Ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation. Prepare regular reports on provider activities, facility visits, engagement, complaints, and network development. Maintain accurate records of provider interactions, assessments, and follow-up activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Nursing, Nursing Science, or a related healthcare field. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid professional licence. Ability to conduct facility visits and engage effectively with hospital management and healthcare professionals. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant professional experience: in nursing, healthcare operations, hospital administration, HMO, managed care, provider relations, or a related healthcare environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong knowledge of healthcare providers and facilities within Benin City/Edo State is an added advantage. Willingness to travel within Benin City and other parts of Edo State as required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
