Key Responsibilities: Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Prepare regular site progress reports for management. Assist in monitoring project costs and preventing material wastage. Ensure the site is properly organised, secure, and maintained. Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed work to ensure compliance with required standards. Liaise with engineers, architects, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders as required. Ensure proper use, storage, and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate workers, artisans, and contractors on site. Monitor work progress to ensure projects are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules. Maintain accurate daily site records, including work progress, materials received, labour deployment, and site activities. Monitor site attendance, productivity, and discipline of workers and artisans. Perform other site-related duties as assigned by Management. Identify and promptly report construction issues, defects, delays, and safety concerns. Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors. Requirements: Strong ability to coordinate artisans, contractors, and other site personnel. Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 3–5 years’ relevant experience: in construction site supervision. Strong organisational, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage. Good understanding of construction processes, building materials, drawings, and site practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain high standards of accountability. Proven experience: supervising residential or commercial building projects. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good knowledge of construction health and safety practices.
