We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Sonographer Location : Lagos Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient confidentiality, and safety standards. Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety. Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician requests and established clinical protocols. Accurately document examination findings and maintain complete patient records. Report equipment faults and coordinate routine maintenance as required. Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing professional development. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care. Assess image quality and identify abnormalities for review by the interpreting physician. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or a related field. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Relevant clinical experience: in diagnostic ultrasound. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in performing general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and small-parts imaging. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Valid professional license or registration to practice as a Sonographer.
