The Infrastructure Engineer (Windows/Linux Engineer) is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the organization's on-premise and cloud infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments. The Infrastructure Engineer manages PayZeep's server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring system reliability, security and performance. Key Responsibilities: Administer, patch and maintain Windows and Linux servers and virtual machines. Improve operational efficiency through scripting and system optimization initiatives. Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, and operational procedures. Monitor backup success rates and resolve backup-related issues promptly. Automate routine infrastructure tasks using scripting tools. Ensure data protection measures meet organizational and regulatory requirements. Conduct periodic disaster recovery tests and business continuity exercises. Standardize infrastructure deployment and configuration management processes. Manage server capacity planning, backups and disaster-recovery processes. Improve operational efficiency through scripting and system optimization initiatives. Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, File Services, and Identity Management solutions. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 infrastructure support for escalated technical issues. Develop and maintain backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies. Support security audits, penetration testing, and regulatory assessments. Implement server-hardening and access-control standards. Support cloud infrastructure deployments across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Implement server hardening standards and secure configuration baselines. Optimize cloud resource utilization and infrastructure costs. Manage hybrid infrastructure environments integrating cloud and on-premise systems. Support infrastructure incident response and root-cause analysis.
