Organization: Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF-Spain, OCBA) Location: Abuja, Nigeria Contract Type: Fixed-term contract starting with 6 months and possibility of extension (Level 7; 208 working hours per month) Post Opening Date: 5th September 2026 Application Deadline: 18th September 2026 at 5:00 PM Position Summary MSF-Spain is seeking a qualified professional to ensure the general functioning of the pharmacy and supervise pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with MSF standards, protocols, and procedures to guarantee efficiency and operating availability. Key Responsibilities: Warehouse & Stock Management: Supervise reception, storage, picking, preparation, and dispatch of medicines and medical supplies while ensuring warehouse organization, hygiene, pest/rodent control, security, FEFO, and appropriate segregation of expired, damaged, quarantined, and recalled products. Oversee compliance with Good Storage and Distribution Practices and participate in pharmacy self-inspections. Inventory & Data Management: Maintain accurate records in Isystock, stock cards, and other MSF tools; conduct regular physical inventories and reconciliations; and investigate and report discrepancies. Medical Stock Distribution: Coordinate international and local medical orders, cargo reception, and timely distribution to MSF Spain projects, emergency activities, and First Aid Boxes. Conduct stock analysis regarding needs, consumption, pipelines, near-expiring items, and over/under-stock situations. Quality Assurance & Cold Chain: Monitor product conditions, batch numbers, expiry dates, traceability, and quality incidents. Oversee refrigerators, cold-chain equipment, temperature records, and transport of temperature-sensitive products while immediately reporting breaches. Controlled Drugs Management: Ensure secure storage, restricted access, accurate reconciliation, and traceability of narcotics and controlled medicines in line with NAFDAC regulations and MSF procedures. Local Procurement & Expired Materials: Ensure proper receipt of locally purchased medicines according to approved purchase orders and technical specifications. Support the safe disposal or destruction of expired or unusable medical products based on MSF and national requirements. Team Supervision: Plan, develop, and supervise the medical warehouse team, handling task allocation, staffing, training, and performance follow-up. Candidate Requirements: Education: Candidate must hold a valid Pharm or PharmD degree and be registered and licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria. Must be willing to make their valid professional registration/license available for MSF’s regulatory and compliance requirements: in the country. . Experience: At least 3 years of work experience: in a pharmacy or medical warehouse for medical stock management.Previous experience: with MSF or other regulatory authorities is an asset. . Language: Essential proficiency in English (Level C1); local languages are ndesirable. Knowledge & Competencies: Essential computer literacy including Word, Excel, and internet use.
