We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Procurement Officer Location: Igbo-Efon, Lekki - Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. + 1 compulsory Saturday monthly) Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement activities deliver value for money while complying with approved procedures. Ensure purchased products meet required quality, quantity, shelf-life, and regulatory standards where applicable. Ensure all procurement activities are conducted ethically, transparently, and in the best interest of the Company. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up. Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, quotations, supplier information, delivery documents, and related reports. Monitor stock requirements: in collaboration with the Inventory Officer to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stock-outs and overstocking. Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant procurement/ERP systems. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, integrity, and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills. Atleast 1 year of relevant procurement experience, preferably in a supermarket, retail, FMCG, or similar environment. Good knowledge of procurement processes, purchase orders, and inventory coordination.
