We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom Job Type: Full Time Job Description This role will develop, lead, and execute Champion Breweries’ marketing and corporate communication strategies that will enhance brand equity. increase market share, and support business growth while promoting a positive corporate image. The role will ensure consistent brand messaging, integrated communication, and engagement with related stakeholders both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s business goals, target audience insights, competitive landscape, and market trends. Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making. Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities Collaborate with product teams to develop effective product marketing strategies, launch plans, and strategies for new products or services. Oversee the training and development of the marketing team to enhance their skills Acts as a consultant and leverages competitive industry ‘market information and recommends improvements that drive value and commercial effectiveness. Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing. and online advertising. Collaborate with management to develop and refine the company’s marketing strategies, including pricing, product positioning, market Segmentation. and sales channel optimization. Define and uphold brand standards. guidelines, and positioning strategies to ensure consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and customer experience: across all touchpoints. Drive initiatives to enhance brand equity and perception. Demonstrate expertise in detailed brand marketing processes. Conduct market research, customer segmentation. and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, customer preferences, and potential risks. Plan. execute. and measure marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including traditional media. digital platforms, events. partnerships, and influencer collaborations. Develop compelling brand narratives, storytelling strategies. and communication plans to engage customers. build brand awareness, and foster brand loyalty. Create business communication and change management steps. Communicate with stakeholders. including management, customers, and vendors. to ensure alignment of marketing activities with business objectives. Work closely with other functions to align strategies and optimize business performance. Reporting Line: The Head. Marketing & Corporate Communications, will report to the MD/CEO Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration. or any other related field. A master’s degree, MBA. or professional certification in rnarketing or cornmunication is an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience: in marketing and corporate communication, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within FMCG. beverage. or a related sector.
