The Retail Salesperson / Store Clerk will be responsible for attending to walk-in customers, driving store sales, processing transactions, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the store is organised and professionally presented. The ideal candidate should be confident speaking with customers, comfortable using basic digital tools, detail-oriented and trustworthy. Key Responsibilities: Welcome customers and assist them in selecting suitable products. Explain product features, prices, materials and customisation options. Actively promote products, upsell and work towards monthly sales targets. Process customer payments and issue receipts or invoices. Maintain accurate records of products received, sold, transferred, returned or damaged. Monitor stock levels and immediately report shortages or discrepancies. Prepare customer orders for delivery or collection. Ensure that no product leaves the store without proper documentation or approval. Maintain clean, attractive and organised product displays. Complete daily store opening and closing procedures. Respond professionally to customer enquiries and complaints. Update customer, sales and stock information using approved company systems. Protect company stock, equipment, customer information and other company resources. Report unusual, suspicious or unauthorised activities promptly. Carry out other sales and store-related duties assigned by the Sales Manager. Requirements: Minimum of OND, NCE or equivalent qualification. Previous experience: in retail sales, customer service, inventory management or store operations is an advantage. Strong communication and customer service skills. Good sales ability and confidence engaging customers. Basic numerical and record-keeping skills. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work with limited supervision. High level of honesty, reliability and accountability. Ability to work on-site in Lekki according to the approved store schedule. Digital Skills Candidates should be comfortable using basic digital tools.
