The role ensures that all products meet regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and company quality policies while promoting patient safety and product effectiveness. A pharmacist in a pharmaceutical company is responsible for ensuring that medicines are developed, manufactured, tested, stored, and distributed in compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining product quality, safety, and efficacy. Key Responsibilities: Keep up to date with changes in pharmaceutical regulations and industry best practices. Provide technical guidance and training to production and quality personnel. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Supervise and monitor the manufacturing process to ensure products meet quality standards. Collaborate with research and development, production, engineering, and regulatory teams during product development and commercialization. Monitor product stability and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products. Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities, including reviewing test results and investigating deviations. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Support product registration, licensing, and regulatory submissions. Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and recalls when necessary. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and applicable pharmaceutical regulations. Review and approve batch manufacturing and packaging records. Participate in internal and external audits and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Product quality and customer satisfaction. Compliance with GMP and regulatory standards. Successful completion of audits with minimal observations. Reduction in manufacturing deviations and quality incidents. Timely completion of documentation and batch record reviews. Requirements: 2- 8 years of experience: in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, or regulatory affairs is preferred. Strong analytical and problem - solving skills. Valid pharmacist license / registration with the appropriate regulatory authority. Knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP, and pharmaceutical quality systems. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).degree from a recognized institution. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
