We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: CCTV Monitoring Officer Location: Kano Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a responsible, observant, and security-conscious individual to join our team as a CCTV Monitoring Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the company’s CCTV surveillance systems, identifying unusual or suspicious activities, maintaining accurate surveillance records, and promptly reporting security incidents to the appropriate personnel. Key Responsibilities: Perform any other security-related duties assigned by management. Report security incidents, breaches, accidents, and other unusual occurrences promptly. Review and retrieve CCTV footage when required for investigations. Maintain accurate records and logs of incidents and daily surveillance activities. Liaise with security personnel and management when incidents occur. Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance footage and security information. Ensure CCTV equipment and monitoring systems are functioning properly and report technical faults. Monitor CCTV cameras continuously and maintain effective surveillance of company premises. Follow all company security procedures and protocols. Observe and identify suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activities. Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately to emergencies. Must be trustworthy, disciplined, and security-conscious. Basic computer literacy and ability to operate CCTV monitoring systems. Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods. Previous experience: in CCTV monitoring, security operations, or a control room environment is an advantage. Good communication and reporting skills. Good observation and attention-to-detail skills. Possess a minimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO; relevant qualifications in Security Management, ICT, or a related field will be an advantage.
