We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer Location: Gujeni, Kaduna Employment Type: Full-time Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. Coordinate with production, mechanical, and other engineering teams to resolve operational issues. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies. Perform calibration and testing of instrumentation equipment. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. Monitor and maintain PLC, DCS, SCADA, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other automation systems. Diagnose electrical faults and instrumentation failures and implement effective solutions. Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, and instrumentation. Support shutdown, plant maintenance, and improvement projects. Interpret electrical, instrumentation, control, and process drawings. Support installation and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation equipment. Requirements: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. 3–5 years of relevant experience: in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, steel, foundry, or process plant environment. Bachelor's degree/HND in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field. Good knowledge of PLC, SCADA/DCS, industrial automation, sensors, transmitters, and control systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/automation tools. Good knowledge of electrical safety and industrial maintenance practices. Relevant professional certification is an added advantage. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
