Community Manager Job Type Full Time , Hybrid Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Lagos Job Field Marketing and Communication Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Community Manager (Community Sales & Growth) role based in Lagos. This is a commercial, community-led position, not a passive social-media seat. You will grow 500chow by engaging the communities we serve, building relationships within them, and converting that engagement into orders. Day to day you will build a pipeline of individual, group, and corporate leads and close them; prospect and win recurring office-lunch and corporate catering accounts and own them so they reorder and grow; nurture the 500chow community online and in person; and plan sales pushes around peak moments like Christmas, paydays, and key events. You will work closely with the content and product teams to get the right message to the right community, and you will be measured on new customers acquired, order volume growth, corporate accounts closed, and community growth. Qualifications A natural, resilient salesperson who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and closing. Comfortable working both in the field (offices, events, communities) and online. Organised and self-driven, able to run a pipeline, follow up relentlessly, and hit targets without hand-holding. Strong communicator who can collaborate across content and product teams. Understands and relates to 500chow's customers: young, working-class, value- and taste-driven. Lagos-based, with flexibility to work around peak periods and holidays when sales matter most. Prior experience: in sales, business development, community management, or account management is an advantage, ideally in food, FMCG, hospitality, or a consumer app. An existing network of corporate or community contacts in Lagos is a plus.
