The ideal candidate will ensure that stock is properly accounted for, stored safely, and readily available when required. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage the day-to-day activities of the store, ensuring proper receipt, storage, documentation, issuance, and reconciliation of inventory. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams regarding stock-related matters. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization within the store. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store/Warehouse Manager. Ensure all received items correspond with approved purchase orders and delivery documents. Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of consumer electronics and other products. Prepare regular stock reports for management. Issue stock to authorized departments, branches, or personnel based on approved requests. Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all stock movements. Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, or excesses. Assist with periodic stock-taking and inventory audits. Monitor stock levels and notify the Store/Warehouse Manager when replenishment is required. Operate inventory management systems or ERP software to record and track stock transactions. Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods and materials. Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Store Issue Vouchers, and other relevant store documentation. Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, or expired stock and report accordingly. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records. Ensure proper documentation and authorization for all stock transfers and movements. Maintain proper filing of all store and inventory documents. Properly arrange and store products to ensure easy identification and accessibility. Key Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience: in a retail or consumer electronics environment is an added advantage. Bachelor’s Degree or HNDin Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Good organizational and time-management skills. Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures. Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines. Female is prefered (for gender balance) High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/ERP systems. Minimum of 2years of experience: in stores, inventory management, warehousing, or a related role. Strong numerical and record-keeping skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
