We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Stores Officer Location: Maiduguri, Borno Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, proper stock management, timely reconciliation and compliance with established stores procedures. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Stores Officer to manage the receipt, storage, documentation, issuance and control of inventory and materials. Key Responsibilities: Track stock transfers, damaged items, obsolete stock and company assets. Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, obsolete and excess inventory. Ensure proper documentation of received inventory. Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances. Prepare periodic inventory and stores reports. Support internal and external audits. Maintain bin cards, stock cards, inventory registers and stores documentation. Maintain systematic storage, labelling and coding of stock. Receive and inspect incoming goods, materials, spare parts and equipment. Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents. Maintain accurate stock and inventory records. Issue materials only against properly authorised requests. Conduct physical stock counts and cycle counts. Requirements: Experience: using an ERP, inventory management or warehouse management system is desirable. 2–4 years' experience: in stores, warehouse or inventory control. Bachelor's Degree, HND or relevant qualification. Good numerical, organisational and record-keeping skills. Experience: in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, automotive, power solutions or trading environments is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
