We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Inventory Officer Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage stock levels, track materials, and ensure efficient inventory control across the production and retail units. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems and manual logs where applicable. Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requests to avoid production delays. Receive, inspect, and properly document all incoming inventory (fabrics, trims, accessories, finished goods). Issue materials to production staff based on approved requisitions and production schedules. Stock Control & Reconciliation: Implement and maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory practices. Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or losses. Ensure proper labelling, categorization, and storage of inventory items. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for stock movement, transfers, returns, and write-offs. Prepare regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly). Provide inventory data to management for production planning and budgeting. Compliance & Store-keeping: Enforce inventory control policies and procedures. Support audits and internal checks when required. Ensure inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards. Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 1–3 years experience: in inventory or store management (fashion industry experience: is an added advantage) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
