We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Finance Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the organization's financial health through accurate reporting, effective cash management, and strong internal controls. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to manage financial records, monitor transactions, prepare reports, support budgeting processes, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management. Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately. Prepare tax schedules and assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions. Maintain fixed asset registers and inventory records where applicable. Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures where necessary. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support external and internal audit processes by providing accurate financial information and relevant documentation. Track and report on financial performance indicators. Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted as required. Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and daily financial activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company financial policies. Requirements: 2-5 years relevant experience: in finance, accounting, or auditing. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
