Read more about this company Electrical Sales Engineer Job Type Full Time , Hybrid Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 years Location Lagos Job Field Engineering / Technical , Sales and Business Development Role Description This is a full-time, Hybrid Electrical Sales Engineer role based in Lagos. The Electrical Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities for our solutions, conduct technical sales presentations, and provide consultative support to prospects and existing customers. Responsibilities include analyzing customer power quality issues, recommending appropriate solutions, preparing proposals and quotations, and following up to close sales. The role also involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinating product demonstrations and site surveys, and working closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation. The Electrical Sales Engineer will maintain accurate sales records, contribute to sales forecasts, and represent the company at industry events, meetings, and customer visits as required. Qualifications and Requirements Strong technical sales skills, including the ability to translate complex electrical concepts into clear customer value propositions. At least 3years and above experience in Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in industrial, electrical, or related markets. Proficiency in conducting power quality analysis audits and reports, designing and selling harmonic filtering solutions, lightning protection solutions, UPS, Voltage Stabilizers, solar solutions etc. is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, persuade, and impress key stakeholders to facilitate desired outcomes. Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related field is a must. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Comfort with field work, site visits, and on-site customer engagement across Lagos and other regions as needed across Africa. Experience selling technical solutions to Telecoms, Manufacturing, Banking, Oil and Gas clients is a plus Proficiency in basic productivity tools (e.g., CRM systems, MS Office) and readiness to learn company-specific tools. Self-motivated A valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively as part of the role. COREN is a plus Remuneration Salaries plus commissions on sales.
