We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Officer Location: No 1 Akaka Road, Ode Remo, Ogun Employment Type: Full-time Department: Quality Control / Engineering Industry: Automobile Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (Q/C) Officer with strong practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, assemblies, and finished vehicles to ensure they meet required engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. Identify, document, and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities. Monitor rework and corrective actions to ensure identified defects are properly resolved. Maintain accurate inspection reports, checklists, and quality records. Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Control or Engineering Supervisor. Use measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product conformity. Verify dimensions, measurements, fit, alignment, workmanship, and overall product quality. Support investigations into the root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions. Work with Engineers, Technicians, Welders, Mechanics, Electricians, and Production teams to resolve quality issues. Conduct inspections on vehicle body, mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and finishing components. Ensure production activities comply with approved engineering and quality specifications. Conduct quality inspections at different stages of the automobile manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and HSE procedures. Inspect incoming raw materials, components, fabricated parts, and finished products. Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience: in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in automobile manufacturing, engineering, or industrial production. Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Good understanding of defect identification, non-conformance reporting, and corrective actions. Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills. Strong practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes is required. Good knowledge of inspection procedures, measurement techniques, and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Familiarity with measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
