The company is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly competent Hydraulic Mechanic to strengthen its Equipment Maintenance Team. This is a role for a seasoned professional who has extensive hands-on experience: maintaining and repairing heavy duty hydraulic construction equipment in demanding project environments. If you have worked with a reputable piling, marine, or heavy construction contractor and possess strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining heavy-duty hydraulic and mechanical equipment, including but not limited to: Welding Generators Vibro Hammers Crawler Cranes Vibro Power Packs Hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and associated hydraulic systems. Junttan Piling Rigs Additional responsibilities: include: Interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, and OEM service manuals. Liaise with project teams to ensure equipment availability for operational requirements. Ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Perform routine inspections and recommend proactive maintenance solutions. Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and artisans where necessary. Rebuild and overhaul hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, and valve assemblies. Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair reports, and spare parts documentation. Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and power system faults using sound troubleshooting techniques. Requirements: Candidates with any of the following will have an advantage: Experience: working under demanding site conditions with minimal supervision. Welding and fabrication skills. Previous experience: in piling, dredging, marine construction, or heavy civil engineering projects. Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics and OEM maintenance manuals. Demonstrable experience: working on Junttan Piling Rigs, Vibro Hammers, Vibro Power Packs, Shindaiwa Welding Generators, and Crawler Cranes, or closely related heavy-duty equipment. Trade Test, OND, HND, or other relevant qualification in Mechanical, Plant, or Hydraulic Engineering. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, circuit diagnostics, fault finding, and component overhaul. Previous employment with a reputable piling, marine, heavy construction, or engineering company. Strong commitment to safe work practices and HSE compliance. Minimum of 5 years' proven hands-on experience: maintaining heavy duty hydraulic construction equipment.
