They are seeking a highly experienced Lead Poultry Flock Veterinarian to provide strategic and operational leadership across our farms. Key Responsibilities: Lead veterinary oversight, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment across all farms. Prepare health and performance reports for senior management. Conduct regular farm visits, health audits, necropsies, and diagnostic testing. Review, redesign, and enforce health management, vaccination, and biosecurity programs. Lead outbreak management and ensure compliance with veterinary, food safety, and Halal standards. Use performance data to improve growth rates, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), mortality, and production yields. Collaborate closely with farm managers and operations teams to address underperformance. Train and mentor veterinary and farm staff. Requirements: Education: & Certifications: Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association - NVMA) is an advantage. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. Master of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) or M.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine is a plus. Experience: Proven leadership track record with measurable improvements in flock performance. Minimum of 10 years of experience: in commercial poultry operations (broiler and breeder).
