We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Auditor (Validator / Verifier) Location: Nigeria Job Summary You should be able to lead and support projects and teams, validate and verify projects, stay up to date with auditing and accreditation occurrences and events, and liaise with co-workers such as sustainability analysts. We are looking for an Auditor (Validator / Verifier) for our sustainability team. Qualifications PhD, Master’s Degree, or equivalent in engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or other disciplines. ISO 19011 certified. Other professional and industry certifications such as ISO 14065 and ISO/IEC 17029 certifications are added advantages. Accreditation by an international body is an added advantage. Requirements: Strong presentation, teamwork, interpersonal, and time management skills. Strong understanding of team support and marketing strategies and concepts Knowledge of the preparation of opinions and reports. Knowledge of rules and requirements: across carbon markets and Validation/Verification Bodies (VVBs). Experience: in information collection via effective interviewing, listening, observing, and reviewing documents, records, and data. Proven experience: as an auditor for sustainability and Validation/Verification Body (VVB) projects. Experience: in third-party validation and verification across sustainability projects. Experience: in ANAB certification processes and sectoral scopes. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), as well as articulating sustainability news. Experience: across ecosystem and management of carbon and other greenhouse gases. Knowledge of data Interpretation across carbon emission reduction and net zero activities. Experience: in application of concepts of materiality and level of assurance. Experience: in review of design, analysis, formulations, modelling, and improvement of carbon emission processes, features, and required systems. Conduct and support research, learning, development, and grants and funding applications and opportunities. Experience: in verification of the accuracy of collected information, evaluation of the sufficiency and appropriateness of evidence to support validation or verification/certification findings and conclusions. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening), as well as articulating sustainability news. Knowledge of risk assessment techniques and methodologies. Excellent computer skills using key packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Suites. Strong knowledge of auditing and accreditation practices in net zero and sustainability.
