We are seeking a competent, detail-oriented,experienced, and reliable WordPress Web Developer to manage, maintain, and support three company websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the websites remain functional, updated, secure, responsive, and professionally presented. Although the role is remote, the candidate must be based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and should be available to report physically when required. The Key Responsibilities: Perform basic website customization and layout adjustments. Monitor website functionality, performance, and general user experience. Identify and troubleshoot basic website errors, bugs, broken links, and functionality issues. Perform routine WordPress updates, including themes, plugins, and core updates. Provide recommendations for improving website performance, usability, and appearance. Coordinate with management or other team members on website-related requirements. Respond promptly to urgent website issues and time-sensitive updates. Monitor website security and implement basic security and maintenance practices. Ensure websites are responsive and function properly across desktop and mobile devices. Conduct regular website backups and assist with website recovery when necessary. Manage and maintain three company WordPress websites. Upload, format, and publish website content accurately and professionally. Maintain proper organization of website content, media, plugins, and other website assets. Update website pages, text, images, documents, and other content as required.
